| Life at The
Welcome, whether for short-term recovery or for
long-term living, can be as full or peaceful as the
resident desires. Daily meals in the dining room and
frequent activities provide an opportunity for
socialization and entertainment. Residents can also
choose to enjoy the quiet of their rooms or a walk along
the outdoor path.
The Welcome lobby is the location of many events and
activities, such as music programs, church services,
holiday celebrations and special events, such as the
Country Fair pictured at left. Other activities are in conjunction with the Oaks in the
activity room. |

| While you are welcome to bring your own vehicle,
transportation is available for weekly errands and
appointments. Other benefits include cable television, assistance taking
medication, and help with daily needs like bathing and
dressing. As The Welcome is connected
directly to the hospital, be assured that help is just
steps away. Each
room has a call button that
communicates directly to the nurses' station for quick response. The Welcome offers the opportunity to have the level
of activity or tranquility you desire, with the peace of
mind that comes with having meals provided and help
nearby.

The hospital
offers a full range of medical and surgical services
along with a 24-hour emergency center. The Eula P. White Welcome Program is owned and operated by
Coryell Memorial Healthcare System. |
