Cutting Edge Technology
for CMHS Operating Rooms

Coryell Memorial Hospital has recently installed a new, state-of-the-art “visualization systems” in two operating rooms along with equipment that will enable physicians to see better and maneuver instruments more easily during minimally invasive surgery.

The new Stryker system includes advanced cameras, high-definition monitors and special LED Surgical Lighting technology.

Benefits of the technology to patients include quicker more accurate surgeries, less time spent under anesthesia, and faster recoveries. Still and video pictures of surgeries may be taken to document procedures if necessary. Installation of new equipment was recently completed in the two OR suites, and the rooms are being used daily.

“The right tools make a difference,” according to Allana Coleman, Coryell’s OR director. “Cutting-edge technology enhances physician performance. The hospital administration and staff desire to provide optimum care by use of modern technology in the operating suites. We want you to have surgery with us!"
