Coryell Memorial Hospital has
recently installed a new, state-of-the-art
“visualization systems” in two operating rooms along
with equipment that will enable physicians to see better
and maneuver instruments more easily during minimally
invasive surgery.
The new Stryker system includes
advanced cameras, high-definition monitors and special
LED Surgical Lighting technology.
Benefits of the technology to
patients include quicker more accurate surgeries, less
time spent under anesthesia, and faster recoveries.
Still and video pictures of surgeries may be taken to
document procedures if necessary. Installation of new
equipment was recently completed in the two OR suites,
and the rooms are being used daily.

difference,” according to Allana Coleman, Coryell’s OR
director. “Cutting-edge technology enhances physician
performance. The hospital administration and staff
desire to provide optimum care by use of modern
